As an adjunct faculty member at Stevenson University, I’ve taught the Certified Financial Planner curriculum to graduate students and influenced the next generation of advisors. I serve on the Board of Trustees for the Maryland State Retirement and Pension System and have testified before the Maryland Senate in favor of financial literacy education. I believe that financial literacy is the key to well-being. That’s why I created Retire University to give you the tools to prepare for financial independence and create a plan for the retirement you want, your way.

Testimonials

What are people saying about the Don't Retire... Graduate! book and online course?

"I'm only 23 but I could already tell that I was developing some really bad spending habits and I wasn't handling my money correctly. But luckily, Don't Retire... Graduate! has helped me create a plan in which I will be debt-free in 5 months so I am really excited to start saving for my future and I appreciate everything they've done for me."

"Hi there, I'm Dale Gillham, stock market expert and educator along with being an author and host of the Talking Wealth podcast and TV show. Now, I originally interviewed Eric Brotman on our Talking Wealth show for the release of his great book, Don't Retire... Graduate! I was also impressed by how he put the book together, along with the great content.

Now Eric's book gives you a step-by-step strategies and/or solutions that anyone can follow to make a difference in their wealth if they choose to follow the steps. Now, when interviewing Eric, I was immediately impressed, not just by his knowledge and insight as he clearly is an expert in his field, but I was impressed by his willingness to share and teach what I know to be very valuable concepts.

And it's really rare to find somebody in his field. Doing what Eric doesn't. So I'm really excited for you. If you choose to read his book or do his course with him, as I know that the wealth of knowledge that you'll get from the experience that will be invaluable to you. And now, as one of my mentors once said to me, that in order to learn, you need to use your ears a hell of a lot more than you use your mouth.

Now I've interviewed. Eric many times on the subject of wealth and retirement for our show. And the best compliment I can give Eric is that I'm happy to keep my mouth shut and just listen hell of a lot more to him. So if you want more control over your money in retirement, then I really do suggest you get Eric's book, Don't Retire... Graduate!, listen to his podcast, or just do one of his courses. As I know, you'll be glad you did."
